Some people say, that punk is dead! Some people say in the truest since, it never was, and others say it never went away. Could it be, that we don’t know what punk rock is at all? Is it a fashion? Is it a movement? Is a style of music? Is it a belief? Is it a feeling? Is it all of the above? I believe where some get lost in the translation is at the very definition of punk. For instance, I like punk rock music! Do I like every punk band on the planet? No. Do I like most punk bands, period? No. Most bands that I consider to my favorite bands, fall under the filing of punk. Do I have a pink Mohawk? No. Do I boycott all corporations? No. Do I worship the punk rock gods? No. But here are videos that I enjoy in the punk genre. Hope you will enjoy them also.

he was doing a smiths impression!!
Sr71
I remember when i started listening to them back in early 2011, and when you read about them here and there, it was kind of a common thing to evaluate their sound as a combo of the "Big 4" from Seattle. Like some sort of wannabe Nirvanas like Bush. Fast forward to 2024, i've come to better appreciate their sound, and i can definitely say that they weren't a pretendo band, they went beyond the "Big 4", they really had a lot potential when it came to the "grunge sound". Many of their melodies sound, without a doubt, quite Their Own, and not rip offs. So unfortunate they changed their sound so much, as the whole "grunge scene" fell into oblivion. They really had it in their veins, but it's understandable if they wanted to do a change as they grew, everyone else did too.
No. All.......
Belting bass footy...
This is really the shit!! B4 shit man. Just perform your songs. No one has any right to say boo. I've got and listened to all. You are like me. .fuk them. Just our Melody progress. M
Not men not metal.aussies do detter
The band was firing on all cylinders at this point and took not only Australia but The States by storm!!
Impossível não bater cabeça. 🔥
Absolutely fitting. 🖤Man in Black
Fun fact, today 6/28/24 MxPx is playing in Bremerton Tonight! Tomorrow too!

These kids write better music than most famous bands today.. incredible musicians! So many switches in their music & the vocals are insane!
Im from Brazil, 2 years younger than them. When I knew them I already have written an album with my bandmates and we were at the process to search a record label. At that point, they were launching freak show album and I was launching my first album with my band and imediatly they become our refference, our goal. Unfornetutly is not an easy task to live by music, speacilly rock music in Brazil so we gave up a few years laters but i still have this emotional feeling by them, like big brothers in music. God bless them all.
I had no clue they were so good live, great vocal
Just a three member band. Wow.
The guitarist just waving the guitar around 😆
So fucking talented, good luck enjoying music like this nowadays 😢
Always been a huge fan but 2024 has brought me back to listening to nothing else!!
Solid! Best grunge for me!
Great punk version of Bob Dylan's classic, Like a Rolling Stone
Why is no one talking about hiw Krist is legit going insane
How was this not widely distributed

Such a underrated guitar player! Aways had the best tone
Tool meets Nirvana kinda sounds. Love it!
rick astley if he was a rock singer
This is amazing.
The true children of Seattle somehow born in Newcastle, South Wales. All of the best parts of Seattle condensed into perfection.
fantastic band they was.
People making in front of me for the reason the jealously
Slave is I don't know anything-mad season
2024 and still listening to this awesome music
Magic era for Silverchair before Daniel got back-st boy sh$# crazy.
Now every singer/band does this
loved the setlist, from what I believe was the peak of mxpx
(In the intro) you mean a grunge band, right?
I can’t believe I’ve never seen this. I cried laughing. 😂
Nirvana did this to an extreme during top of the pop a British TV show
My favorite version
who would like to hear smells like teen spirit with the voice he does
Hands down my favorite non acoustic live performance of any band. The way they transition between song is incredible. Slave into leave me out is perfect ❤
Drummer excellent. Reminds me of Pearl Jam's dave abbruzzese
They kind of sound like "Joy Division" or "Echo On The Bunny Men" like this! New Wave Teen Spirit!
Looks like Dave’s high on cocaine, Kurt’s high on acid and Krist is trying not to drown in the smoke 😂
These guys rocked hard and i miss them
So tight, educate the young.
Bo Burnham...
People can say whatever they want about Silverchair- but here's the thing: When my mates and I were 15, we were very passionate, skilled, and dedicated musicians, and we were NOWHERE NEAR these guys' skill as a band at that age- ESPECIALLY live. If I had a chance to do at 15 what these guys were doing like professionals at the same age, I would have shat my country bumpkin drawers. They're very good anyway, but when you consider their age when Frogstomp was released? Holy fuck mate. What were YOU doing at age 15? I sure as fuck bet it wasn't playing in front of sold out festival crowds and doing it like a fuckin' boss!
Imagine being this talented and sharing this experience with your best mates at 15?
They are not just good, they are exceptional. Much rather listen to Frogstomp than Alice In Chains, Nirvana, etc.
Wtf this is fire 🔥
Yeah, Newie in the 90s
Watched this live 😅
